Thanks for the email on fruits and juices. It is one of the strategies to heal cancer. As of late, my success rate in curing cancer is about 80%. Cancer patients shouldn't die. The cure for cancer is already found. It is whether you believe it or not. I am sorry for the hundreds of cancer patients who die under the conventional treatments.

EATING FRUIT…

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

 

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

 

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

 

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

 

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil….

 

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

 

Graying hairbalding nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice – drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

 

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

 

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

 

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

 

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

 

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

 

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

 

A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

    Where is your proof or evidence to back upi your statements? Only a fool will believe that nature is not the best option.

          You can always go beck to Fast Food, if these suggestions don’t work for you.

          Okay, so some of these things may not provide a miracle cure for cancer. Perhaps it still makes a difference for some people.

          Not all of us have the same physical makeup.

    What about diabetics that can not drink fruit juice at all as the sugar get into the blood emidietly?

      Yes Alexis, it is lies

      Any bio chemist or profession that required genetics 101 knows very specifically what cancer is. Any and all of these people will be able to tell you in explicit detail that cancer is a combined failure of 2 cell mechanisms, one that stops a cell making copies until it is signaled to do so, and one that gives a cell an apoptosis (suicide) command when it isn’t behaving correctly.

      When both these mutations occur, you have a cancer cell that will replicate non-stop. A further mutation allows this cell to leave it’s current environment and spread to the body (metastasis).

      People prone to cancer genetically already have one of these mutations present thus greatly increasing the chance of having a cancer cell with both mutations occur.

      Once you have cancer cells you can not “cure” them by what you eat. That would litterally imply the food you ate would (after being processed by your stomach) somehow gain intelligence and mechanism to travel through your body, identify cancer cells, and either reverse the mutations or destroy them.

      If this should sound completely bonkers to you, because it is.

    This is a bit after the fact since you posted a year ago, but do you not compensate for fruit juice just as you would any other carb intake–with an insulin bolus?
    I going to assume you are a Type I diabetic or you wouldn’t be that concerned, but perhaps you’re not. At any rate, it’s best to consume the whole fruit as the article indicates and not just the juice as there is nothing to slow the sugar from being metabolized in your system very rapidly. If you eat the whole fruit the way God intended (or if you’re a non-believer, the way Nature intended), the fiber will slow the metabolism and you won’t have the rapid rise in blood sugar. Plus you will get numerous other phytonutrients. I’ve been Type I myself for 20 years and have been using an insulin pump for about two years.

    This was my response when this chain email was getting passed about back in 2004-2005 and a lot of friends/family asked me about it. Consider we’ve yet to see any research and proven results from the mythical Stephan Mak yet after 10 years of this email floating about.

    Much of the suggestions put forward by “Dr. Stephen Mak” is a bit over the top and takes various ideas out of context pushing them to extremes.

    I thought it was pretty funny on some levels but also thought it would be a good idea to try to clarify things so that people aren’t dehydrating themselves for fear of getting cancer. This was kind of an “off the cuff” quick thing so I apologize for redundancies and grammar/formatting/etc. ;)
    One of the first things I did was see if I can find notable credentials on the supposed author (particularly to see if he is a real person getting his identity abused to “legitimize” a chain email). So far I found nothing other than links to sites posting this same chain email. No actual information on “Dr. Stephen Mak”, no breakthrough research or results, etc. And while an internet search in and of itself proves nothing one would imagine ANY doctor with an EIGHTY PERCENT successful cancer treatment rate who had treated a remotely large number of patients would have more than a few links directing people his/her way and backing up claims not to mention be a keynote speaker at MULTIPLE conventions.
    One can try to argue conspiracy theories on this but companies revolve on money and I can promise you that any fruit company would be trumping this card left and right if they could remotely substantiate it. Dole would be going buckwild with ad campaigns and supporting research. More importantly doctors don’t like loosing patients and have been pushing in practically every direction imaginable in regard to cancer research.

    First and most importantly. Few people eat enough fruits and vegetables and drink enough water (especially in America where meat and junk food is ridiculously easy to come by). Most people have only 2 or 3 extremely large meals a day to save time and many gorge on unhealthy snacks.
    So if this information encourages people to eat a relatively healthy fruit snack here and there between meals power to them. But lets get some facts strait:

    1) eating strait up fruit/veggies/hot peppers/etc. by themselves effectively act like a laxative, kind of a “well duh” since you’re loading down indigestible fiber, some have a more dramatic effect than others. Eating/drinking only such things for days will essentially perform a “colon cleanse” which isn’t all bad and does have some health benefits used here and there (though those benefits are mitigated to a degree if you already eat healthy and practically never have intestinal blockage issues).
    You loose weight doing this because you aren’t retaining anything long enough for your body to absorb significant nutrients and energy from. You get the vast majority of your nutrients and energy absorbed by food in your intestinal track. If you flush it out before your body can absorb all the calories etc. it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the end result. This is practically used like a form of bulimia by some people, instead of puking their food back up, they flush it through the other end before they can absorb most of the calories and “miraculously loose weight”, to be fair its MUCH easier on your system than throwing up and you DO get some of the calories and nutrients that you eat, but taken to an extreme doesn’t seem to be a good idea to me personally though I have yet to see well run studies concluding one way or the other.

    2) Fruit is about as important as any other food. You’re born an omnivore and you will die one. If you ate nothing but fruit for an extended duration your health will suffer and eventually you’ll die. A pair of vegan parents went to jail not terribly long ago because they tried to put their baby on a vegan diet thus killing it from malnutrition. Moderation and balance are the best ways to eat so long as you are not doing so in a way that spikes your blood sugar high regularly (if you get tired or hungry right away after just eating chances are you spiked your blood sugar level so high that your body overcompensated with too much insulin, thus stripping sugar from your blood and making you sleepy/hungry, turkey can make you sleepy too but for completely different reasons involving a process to acquire niacin from the turkey meat). If you regularly spike your blood sugar too high its likely to trigger type 2 diabetes given enough time. Ideally you want to break fast shortly after waking and eat small meal/snacks through the day avoiding individual massive meals. This allows you to more fully digest what you eat and is easier on your intestines, blood sugar, and metabolism in general. It takes a little more time and planning and can be a very difficult lifestyle adjustment for many people. I still have large dinners on occasion or when I’m visiting friends/family or going out to eat on the rare occasion. What can I say…I’m human. ;)

    3) Eating fruit on its own vs. eating with bread is practically the opposite of what is suggested. Bread helps mop up and absorb a good portion of the stomach acid (one of the reasons you have soda crackers etc. when you have an upset stomach, it soaks up excess acid and is easy to digest) thus any fruit with the bread would arguably be notably less exposed to your stomach acid. Eating ANYTHING triggers your stomach to dump acid on it, contrary to the author’s implications it really doesn’t know any better (in fact even thinking about or smelling food can do it).
    That said, eating fruit with bread DOES change how it will be handled in your intestine however (especially if you had low/no fiber highly refined bread). Fruit eaten by itself will practically fly through your intestine if nothing else is in its way (especially when the skin is eating like with cherries) as it’s essentially a wad of indigestible cellulose fibers with a high dose of plant sugars (much of which you can’t get to very well because of the afore-mentioned indigestible cellulose fibers making walls around said plant sugars). That’s why it’s usually good to have fruit and/or veggies any time you eat meat or refined starches (including baked/mashed potatoes or fries). Meats (especially if eaten too fast, poorly chewed etc.)and most refined food stuffs by themselves tend to sit in your intestine unmoving which can cause a host of issues. The fiber in fruits and veggies helps keep things moving along. Eating a ton of fruit by itself is not unlike taking a laxative and will try to push through blockages but its better to just prevent them in the first place.
    Fruit does not “turn into acid” in your stomach no matter how you eat it. But chewing it more thoroughly, eating it with other foods, flash cooking it, helps it digest better and stay in your body a bit longer while helping break open the plant cell walls that you can’t digest so that your body can leach more energy and nutrients from it.

    4) The comments about gas are weird (particularly the banana comment) and false. If you eat a bunch of fruit and veggies you WILL have more gas…end of story. Some of the sugars present are processed in your intestines in such a manner that gas is produced. Granted, if you’re only eating fruit and veggies things will be in and out of your system too fast really get much of a build up but that’s not really a practical long term way to go about things.

    5) The comments on graying hair, balding, nervousness, and dark circles under your eyes are simply ridiculous. Malnutrition and bad lifestyle choices can definitely play a strong hand in these things (along with lack of sleep and/or stress). So can mercury poisoning from eating too much fish (particularly older larger fish such as shark, swordfish and tilefish). But if you think eating fruit will eternally prevent baldness despite it running in your genes or keep your hair from eventually loosing its color I have swamp land in Florida to sell you along with a bridge in London. ;)

    6) Acidity is cumulative, buffer systems can reduce how fast it shifts in response but the only way to make something alkaline is to add base to it or perform other chemical reactions that strip acid from the given liquid being discussed. Trying to state otherwise (fruit mystically turns alkaline in your body) is the equivalent of saying that the laws of the universe change for fruit in regards to ion and pH interaction. Not gonna happen. But there is an easy way to prove it to yourself. Next time you have an upset stomach chug some lemon juice and see just how alkaline (basic) it turned for you as it comes back up frying your throat. ;) Fruit, contrary to the author’s belief is not an antacid, not in your stomach or your colon.

    7) The (typical) advantage of fresh juice is that you get more fiber from it (though types such as grape juice have practically none) and in some fresh juices there are more nutrients. But juice in general is pretty much sugar water with “natural” flavor and a paltry amount of vitamins, you’ve eliminated a lot of the health benefits by removing the fibrous portion of the fruit that helps with keeping your digestive track greased. You can drink Koolaid and take good multi-vitamins and expect to get A LOT more nutrients and a larger array of them.

    8) Like most of this writing, the cooked fruit vitamin comment is exaggerated. SOME vitamins can be destroyed by cooking at high temperatures for a long time. However cooking fruit and vegetables ALSO lyses the cells and makes it MUCH easier for your body to absorb the nutrients present. Like anything else the best approach is a balanced one. Using a microwave, steamer, or stir fry to quickly heat vegetables and fruit is a great way to get much more nutrients than you could if they were raw and typically does so without degrading the vitamins heavily. That said NEVER boil veggies or fruits. A lot of the vitamins are water soluble and will leach out into the boiling water which means you’ll loose out on it completely (unless of course you drank the water you boiled them in like you would in a soup). That said, taking a daily multi-vitamin will typically do a great job covering anything you might normally run short on in terms of fruit and vegetable born vitamins.
    To be honest I almost never cook fruit and don’t know many people that do (except maybe stir fry or kabobs on the grill), but unless you’re really nuking the bejesus out of it for a good stretch of time its peachy (pun intended).

    One thing to bear in mind though is that you CAN overdo it on vitamins. Some such as vitamin A become toxic if you get too much of it. Just use moderation, just because some of a vitamin is good rarely makes more better. You need what you need, more than that is typically a waste or can damage you. Selenium can cause serious problems with even slightly high concentrations and actually makes a great poison if its giving to someone in a concentrated dose, yet its often touted for how good it is for you. Once again, moderation is key.

    9) Drinking water after meals. Yes it slows down digestion. This is primarily because it dilutes your stomach acid. It can also momentarily solidify SOME oils (bacon grease comes to mind). However your body is pretty strict on the whole “I’m a warm blooded mammal” thing and regulates temperature pretty darn effectively. Thus any temporary cooling of your stomach is typically countered pretty fast. Slowing down your stomach digestion isn’t an all bad thing in and of itself and can help promote feeling full reducing the chances of over eating.
    Slamming enough ice-water to keep your stomach from being able to fold and compress properly however WILL make it hard for your stomach to do much digesting and will take too long to temperature adjust because you just created a terrible volume to surface ratio in your stomach. That IS hard on your system (in general anything that expands out your stomach so much that it can’t contract and crush mush food around effectively is a bad idea, that includes eating too much too fast, yes even fruit, that and there’s the whole “don’t spike your blood sugar too high” thing).
    However it doesn’t work like the author suggests, instead what happens is that your body will move things along one way or another, and either you’ll get sick to your stomach and throw up or (more commonly) your stomach will pass poorly digested food into your intestine, this is not a good thing as it makes meat and fats far more likely to cause blockages etc.
    Being chronically dehydrated however ALSO is a pretty common problem for most. Considering that most people wait until they are actively thirsty before drinking water I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you go right on ahead and drink water regularly, before, after meals, or whenever. Just don’t drink so much in one shot that your stomach feels full or uncomfortable if you’ve recently eaten and it should practically never be an issue.

    10) Cancer. Is caused principally by two mutations in cells. One mutation disables your cell’s mechanism to make sure it’s ready before dividing thus allowing it to divide continuously. The other mutation disables your cell’s suicide mechanism that allows it to destroy itself when something goes wrong. If both DNA mutations occur in the same cell the result is a cancer cell. This can occur in pretty much any cell in your body but some tend to be more prone to it than others. There are too many things to list here that “may” contribute to your odds of getting cancer. In general the media has obsessed about antioxidants in various things. Like most terms this has become grossly abused.
    Out of all studies done on all these “powerful antioxidants” that are claimed to be present in anything from chocolate to green tea, to pretty much every fruit and vegetable on the planet at this point the only one CLINICALLY proven to do squat is lycopene (at least as of 2005 when I did a pretty thorough report on it). Present somewhat in watermelon but more heavily in tomatoes. It is not water soluble and like any plant is trapped behind the indigestible cell walls, thus the best way to get lycopene in your diet is through tomato sauces and a touch of oil (yes ketchup counts). All other “powerful antioxidants” are blowing smoke until proven otherwise.
    To be fair if you are vitamin deficient that can make you more prone to various types of body malfunction but in general if a particular vitamin is important you can only use what you can use. Loading up beyond that is a waste. Its similar to trying to fill your car with more gas than it can hold, it doesn’t help and in some cases may cause a problem.

    I can GARUNTEE that the doctors and researchers at Mayo Clinic and other such institutions are ACUTELY aware of all the different “home remedies” that have historically been tried (yes even ones spread around in email/internet chain letters). If eating raw fruit saved 80% of cancer patients (or heck even 5%) it would have been proven and proscribed quite some time ago as a blanket starting treatment.
    The truth is some people live healthy much longer than others after being diagnosed with cancer (and in general). Lifestyle plays a role, so does genetics and a ton of other things not all of which are completely understood.
    There is some very good and promising research being done on a cancer eating bacteria that seems successful so far in rodents. Granted that’s still miles away from being tested on humans and FDA approved but it has exciting potential regardless.

    I eat quite a lot of raw fruit and veggies between meals. But it does not make me immune to cancer, nor is it going to stop my steadily receding hairline and I promise I’ll continue getting more grey hairs.

    That’s life. There are no magic bullet cure-alls. Just hard work to make a balanced lifestyle and keep your fingers crossed that your DNA doesn’t take the wrong turn on you while staying in shape so you can be there for yourself, friends and family.

    Rule of thumb: if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

    PS no clue about the pain in your jaw = potential heart attack thing. You do have both vascular and nervous bundles in your jaw so it’s plausible. On the flip side avoiding a lot of cholesterol and keeping the heck away from trans fat combined with regular exercise should help keep you from getting a heart attack to begin with…that and decent sleep and trying to reduce persistent stress.

It was sent to me by a well meaning friend urging me to send it on to at least 10 people. I did not. Instead I Snoped it and googled it and came across Blakeborough’s blog and various links which led me to your helpful and well thought out comments. You have done a service to health hungry consumers. Just hope they will scroll down to your discussion.

    You are totally correct about the fruit diet that you mentioned sir Mak
    I am from India. My eye sight are too too weak its -6.50 for left eye and -5.50 for right eye. My doctor adviced me to eat fruits empty stmoch.
    Today i am sitting with my mom in PGIMER. She has been admitted here in emergency because of reports showing blood cancer…. But i am totally with you sir about what you have been writing over here is being recommended by doctors.
    Even in India in Hindu religion, fasts are kept by people are connected to spirituality but somewhere it just mean, stopping meals for few days and relying upon fruots totally for the renewation of blood.
