We're doing our best to be honest.

I said good bye to political correctness a long time ago.

We're glad you like the material. Tell a friend about us.

Once in a while we get to see an event with our own eyes.

Most of the time we are forming our opinions from comments somebody else told us about.

A world leader made a comment years and years ago - " Mind Your Own Business. " There is plenty for me to do, taking care of my own life.

Your comments about the sale of the candy company owned by James O Welch and the alleged benefit to Robert Welch and the JBS are completely ridiculous. First of all, the JBS was founded by Robert Welch in 1958 and the James O Welch candy company was sold in October 1963. Second, Robert Welch had resigned from his brother's candy company many years before the sale and he did not own any stock in the company. Third, Welch was a well-known figure in the business community (particularly as a result of his NAM contacts) and his personal friends and contacts often were men of substantial wealth (most of the 11 persons Robert invited to the founding meeting of the JBS in Indianapolis were millionaires or nearly millionaires).

Consequently, there is no basis for believing that the sale of his brother's candy company was, in any way, a benefit to Robert or the JBS. The financial reports prepared by the Birch Society's CPA firm make it clear that all of the JBS income in the early to mid-1960's came from member's dues and donations (including bequests) and sale of publications.

Furthermore, the actual original sources of all the falsehoods about the JBS/Rockefeller connection (Eustace Mullins and Morris Beale) were not in a position to know anything factual about the finances of the JBS. Incidentally, Mullins concocted his story only AFTER he contacted the JBS and asked them to sell his books in their bookstore chain and they refused. Mullins cited JBS National Council member Revilo Oliver as his primary source of information about the alleged "Rockefeller connection". Significantly, however, Oliver's autobiographical narrative [Education of a Conservative] never mentions any such connection.

This entire story is a hoax concocted by individuals who had no connection to the JBS and who were not even in a position to know anything factual about the matter.
