The last statement released said Maliki has now agreed to most of the points regarding Erbil, ministers etc. Lets hope that statement is true. If it is, then we will see formal public announcements of power sharing and we can turn our focus back to the CBI and their currency reform project. I’m disappointed Talabani seems to be backing Maliki but if they can reach an agreement (a real one) then maybe that’s the quickest, most painless solution anyway. Given Maliki’s history though, it’s very hard to trust him.

There is consideration in his own party of either an attempted military take-over or having Maliki resign and someone from the Dawa internal party take-over. It's really bad for him. It might have been easier if Maliki or Talibani or anyone would have stood up and done the right thing. If they don't move on Maliki in the Parliament in the next 7-10 days I will be shocked!!

My bad…085 per day was what I was told…sorry for the misunderstanding. From my understanding, there was a "penalty" put on to cover what this has costs all of the banks involved and countries involved while they have been made to stand ready and it costs them money and lots of it. I know for a fact that there will be a "country" rate which will be much higher than the coded rate which will be higher than the bank rate. The country code is increasing daily to pay some of these losses back to countries, who for their part have been ready and are suffering because of the delays. From what I understand, this penalty phase started a few weeks ago and continues.

Sheriff Solomon: 170 signatures will be sent to Talabani again.
BAGHDAD / Nina / MP form Kurdish coalition forces Sharif Sulaiman confirmed that there are 170 signatures demanding withdrawal of confidence form Prime Minister Nori al-Maliki and will be sent again to President Jalal Talabani.
Sulaiman said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / today: "The signatures are the best evidence that these blocs are determined to withdraw confidence from Maliki and continuing their efforts and will not give up their constitutional right to withdraw confidence."
He added: "The request to withdraw confidence from Maliki represents the will of people within the constitution and the democratic approach, especially as each deputy represents one hundred thousand citizens, and this means that more than 17 million Iraqis who want to change the government. And this number is not a small number, and there must be respect for the will of this majority. "
[BWM] HERE'S MY PROBLEM WITH SOME APPOINTED PROVIDERS: HERE IS THE STATEMENT THEY POSTED…Logistics is the holdup … Not Obama, Not Maliki, or anyone else. Once they have all systems in line, we will be going to the bank.
THEN, THEY TURN AROUND AND SAY THIS…It has been estimated by reliable sources that at this point and time, every day that it does not happen, the ending rate will be increased by 85 cents. If you put that into real numbers, that would be $850,000 for every million dinar you have.

It has been estimated by reliable sources that at this point and time, every day that it does not happen, the ending rate will be increased by 85 cents. If you put that into real numbers, that would be $850,000 for every million dinar you have. That is not a bad fee for the torment and misery so many are going through. However, at this point, I am sure that almost all would gladly forgo the profiting period to just get this over with.
Folks, you know that I sit back and watch to make sure that you are not being fed a bunch of BS that will get you stressed for no reason. When that occurs, I come out of hibernation and try to cleanse the entire process of waiting.
